1) Riding For Disabled Association (Wellington Group) (www.RDA.org.nz)
Provides opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy, stimulating, therapeutic horse riding and horse-related activities.

2) The Malaghan Institute of Medical Research (www.Malaghan.org.nz)
Independent medical research institute working in the fields of cancer, asthma and allergy, arthritis, multiple sclerosis and infectious diseases to provide tangible health benefits to the community

3) Whakatane Kiwi Trust (www.WhakataneKiwi.org.nz)
Promotes and helps with the protection of kiwi in the Whakatane area.

  2. Fantastic service and great to get out and hear the kiwi in the bush -even if you can’t see them! Amazing work carried out to get our little Kiwis back to their natural habitat.

  7. I vote for the Malaghan Institute which relies on voluntary community funding for much of its leading edge health research.

    They are doing outstanting work not only for Kiwi but for Biodiversity.

  9. I vote for Malaghan Institute as my great niece does research there and I am very interested in the work they do.
